Cutting Corners is becoming

Signal Art and Framing

We will be closed from Dec 21 through part of January for renovations. Read below to learn more.

After 35 years, Linda is beginning her well-deserved retirement. We wish her all the best in her next adventure, and we are incredibly thankful to her for letting us work with her for these past few months. Countless picture frames are hanging on walls in hundreds of houses across the Chattanooga area that she designed and put together. We are so excited to be the ones to continue that legacy.

FAQ

Will you still be framing?

We will, of course, still be your local framer, just with a few upgrades. We have some new tools and software that will allow us to create cool new designs and help you visualize how the final piece will look. The possibilities are even more endless now!

What else is changing?

You may have noticed the “Art” in our name. The front of the store is going to be more of an art gallery with both unframed and framed art to purchase. So stop by sometime, even if you don’t have anything you need framed, and check out what we’ve got!

I’m an artist, how do I get my art in the gallery?

We’re looking to feature as many local artists as possible! We take a 40% commission on every sale, with no additional fees or anything. We will only accept unframed pieces, since we want everything in the gallery to either be ready-to-frame or have been framed in-house. Check out the Artist Submission page for more information and how to apply!

When will you be opening?

We don’t have an exact date yet, but it should be in the second half of January. If you want to be informed when that will be, just put your email in the box below, check “Sign up for news and updates”, and finally click “Notify Me”. This will sign you up to receive a maximum of two emails: one when we know our opening date, and one on the day we open. This site will also have more information as we get closer to opening.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
