Artist Submissions
The front of our shop is going to be set up as a small, dedicated gallery space. We won’t be opening until the middle of January at the earliest, but we want to get as many local artists as we can signed up to display their art for the opening!
How to Apply
Send an email to gallery@signalartandframing.com with the following information:
Your name
A short artist bio (3-5 sentences).
Three examples of your work, along with each piece’s title, medium, and size.
Terms and Benefits
We’ll go over the details with you once you are accepted, but here are the highlights:
You set the price of your art. We take 40% of each sale as a commission. Payments will be sent out twice a month.
No membership fees. We only get paid if you get paid, so we want to sell your art!
No exclusivity. Feel free to sell you art at any other art shows or galleries that also have non-exclusivity, as long as your pricing is the same everywhere.
We accept both originals and prints, as long as it can be framed.

We only accept unframed art.
Why only unframed art?
Because we are a frame shop, the gallery doubles as our example showroom. We want everything up front to be indicative of what a customer could have on their own art, which means we don’t want our gallery to be filled with “gallery frames”. Our space is also very limited, so we can’t have every piece up on the wall.
When we have available space on our walls, we’ll look through what we have for sale and choose something we like that can be framed in an interesting way. We’ll frame it at no cost to you, and when it sells you’ll still get the same 60% on the price of the art as if it were unframed. The frame will not factor in to the 60/40 split.
Anything unframed will still be on display and easily accessable to customers. We won’t hide your art in the bottom of a giant stack. Customers will also be incentivized to buy your unframed art, as all unframed art sold in the store will come with 15% off custom framing.
